Birmingham Xmas Reindeer Trail

Next dates

Sorry, there are no future dates available

Brum’s Christmas Reindeer Trail returns to Birmingham city centre this Christmas, bringing back the much-loved reindeer sculptures: Rudolph, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen (along with four newly redesigned characters).

Running until 6 January 2026, the free family trail once again raises money and awareness for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, and has been created in partnership with art trail specialists Wild In Art.

This year’s refreshed designs include a Roy Wood I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day reindeer, one decorated with Christmas trees, another featuring a snowman with twinkling lights, and a cheeky character bursting out of gift wrap.

Perfect for festive selfies, the reindeer are dotted across key locations including Mailbox, the Frankfurt Christmas Market, Great Western Arcade, New Street Station, Grand Central, Burlington Arcade, the Bullring (near the Bull), and inside the world’s largest Primark.

Rudolph, with his iconic bright red nose built from 5,000 sparkling beads, returns to his favourite spot outside Selfridges, close to the Paddington Bear bench.

Visitors can download an online trail map or pick up paper versions from selected hotels, shops and stands, with a new hidden-word hunt where each reindeer displays a different letter to solve a festive puzzle.

The trail is part of a wider programme of Christmas attractions and entertainment taking place across Birmingham city centre for the 2025 festive season.
