The Easter Holiday Sewing Session – Personalised Bunting by G&G Stitch Academy takes place on Tuesday 7th April from 10am to 1pm and costs £40 per child. 

In this three-hour creative workshop, children and teenagers aged 7 and over will learn a range of sewing skills while making their own personalised fabric bunting to take home. Perfect for decorating their bedroom or giving as a handmade gift. 

During the session, students will explore different materials, fabrics, and trims, choosing their favourites to create a unique design. 

They will also learn how to use sewing tools and equipment, including scissors, needles, pins, and marking chalk, as well as cutting fabric accurately, sewing a straight seam on a sewing machine, topstitching, and using an iron safely. 

The class is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some sewing experience, with additional challenges available for returning students, making it a fun and engaging activity to keep children creative during the Easter holidays.
