Easter Holidays at Resorts World
Next dates
Free Easter Holiday Fun at Resorts World Birmingham (28 March – 5 April 2026) offers a series of free creative workshops and family activities inside the Art Among Us pop-up gallery.
Workshop places must be booked, while some craft sessions run as relaxed drop-in activities.
Saturday 28 March: The day begins at 11am with a Zentangle workshop for children aged 7+, exploring pattern, colour and storytelling through creative drawing. At 12pm there is an unsupervised drop-in session where children can build at the Lego table or take part in crafts such as collage making, doodling and Easter card creation. At 2pm, families can join a relaxed creative workshop with MrASingh designed for children aged 5+ and adults to make art together.
Sunday 29 March: From 10:30am to 4pm the gallery hosts a drop-in creative session where children can freely explore Lego building and craft activities including colouring, collage and Easter card making.
Monday 30 March: At 10am, Tat Vision leads the Tatter Box cardboard head workshop for children aged 4+, where scrap materials are transformed into imaginative wearable characters. A drop-in craft and Lego session follows at 12pm. At 2pm, designer Maisie Rees hosts a plant pot painting workshop for ages 11–16, allowing participants to design and decorate their own personalised planter to take home.
Tuesday 31 March: Artist Boglarka Toth runs the 3D Dream Portal workshop at 10am and 11am for children aged 6+, where participants create a miniature doorway or portal into an imaginary world using colourful craft materials. At 12pm there is another drop-in craft and Lego session.
Later, at 2pm and 3pm, Handcrafted Hen leads a weaving workshop for ages 10–16, teaching basic weaving techniques with ribbon and wool to create a small wall hanging.
Friday 3 April: At 10:30am and 11:30am, Hasret Brown hosts a geometric patterns workshop for children aged 5–10, where participants learn to draw an eight-pointed star design inspired by patterns from different cultures. A drop-in Lego and craft session runs at 12pm. At 2pm families can again join the relaxed creative workshop, encouraging collaborative art making.
Saturday 4 April – Sunday 5 April: Across both days from 10:30am to 4pm there are open drop-in craft and Lego sessions where children can build, colour, create collages and design Easter cards in a relaxed environment.
During the event period there is also a daily Easter picture hunt from 10:30am to 3:30pm, where families can search around the shopping complex for famous paintings displayed in shop windows and win prizes for completing the trail. Children must be supervised at all times.
