Come along this half-term for a fun, family-friendly experience at the Museum Collection Centre! Discover hidden treasures, engage in exciting activities, and get up close to thousands of fascinating objects.

What you can do:

• Hunt for griffins on our griffin trail

• Become an artefact finder and decide what to include in a museum while spotting our oldest artefact

• Handle rare and intriguing items from our top shelves

Explore a vast collection of objects, from steam engines and motor cars to sculptures, motorbikes, and even a red phone box! The Museum Collection Centre houses 80% of Birmingham Museums' collections, with a particular focus on the West Midlands, providing a unique and behind-the-scenes atmosphere.

Times:

• Friday morning: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

• Friday afternoon: 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM

Details:

• Admission: Pre-booking is essential

• Parking: Limited free on-street parking

• Access: Public transport routes available

• What to bring: Warm clothes and sensible footwear; no large bags or rucksacks (lockers available)

• Restrictions: No food or drink allowed (except bottled water)
