The g&g Stitch Academy Half Term Sewing Workshop – Mini Tote Bags is a fun, hands-on session for children and teens who want to learn how to use a sewing machine. 

Taking place on Friday 20th February (10am–1pm), the workshop guides young makers through choosing and cutting fabric, sewing straight seams, finishing raw edges and attaching straps to create their own stylish, sturdy tote bag. 

With support from a friendly tutor, participants will learn essential sewing machine and textile skills, with opportunities for more confident sewers to try advanced techniques like French seams, fabric straps and embellishments. 

The session costs £40, and each child leaves with a handmade tote bag they can proudly use again and again.
