Ghost Story Writing for Young People

This Halloween-themed writing class offers participants the chance to learn techniques for crafting captivating ghost stories. In this half-day course, participants will explore how to create a truly spooky story, studying famous ghost tales and discussing key elements of ghost story writing. The class, led by Carol Preston, emphasizes building confidence, enjoying the creative process, and embracing drafting. By the end of the session, everyone will have a piece of writing to take home.

Who is it for?
The course is designed for children aged 12 to 17 and is open to all skill levels. A learning support worker is available, and all staff are DBS-checked. Parents are not required to attend, but a parent or carer may accompany a child if needed, with a complimentary ticket. The room is wheelchair accessible.

Participants should bring a notebook and pen.
