The Green Man’s Wonder Trail

The Green Man’s Wonder Trail at Birmingham Botanical Gardens is a magical self-guided sensory adventure running from 23–31 May, 10am–6pm.

Families can follow the trail through the gardens, stopping at different points to cast simple “spells” and discover the hidden magic of nature along the way. The experience encourages children to slow down, explore their surroundings, and engage their senses through curiosity, imagination, and mindfulness.

The trail is best suited for children aged 6+, though younger children can still take part with help from an adult. Activity sheets are available from the Welcome Desk.
