Nature Explorers at Weoley Castle is a summer adventure series for children aged 7–16, set in historic woodland and led by Forest School certified leaders. Kids will explore nature through hands-on activities like identifying plants and animals, crafting with natural materials, learning basic tool use, building teamwork and motor skills, and playing outdoor games. Sessions run in all weather (excluding extreme storms), so participants must wear sturdy clothing and bring waterproofs and a change of clothes. Medical information must be shared at the first session. Parents can drop children off (with completed forms) or stay onsite, with up to two adults per child welcome to either join the activities or relax in the visitor centre.
