Step into the Thinktank Planetarium this summer and enjoy a variety of immersive space shows running on weekdays from 22 July to 30 August. . Planetarium shows cost £3.95 per person (£3 for members) in addition to Thinktank admission, with pre-booking available when purchasing museum tickets.

3-2-1 Liftoff!
Join Alan the hamster scientist on a space adventure as he helps a stranded robot return to its spaceship before it's too late. This fun animated show is ideal for young families and runs for 30 minutes, with showings at 11am and 2:15pm on weekdays during the summer holidays (except 11:30am on Friday 7 August).
Tonight's Sky
Discover the wonders of the current night sky in this presenter-led show, exploring visible constellations, planets, and the latest astronomy news. Recommended for ages 5+, the 25-minute show takes place at 12pm and 1:30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays (excluding Tuesday 29 July).
Seasonal Stars: Summer
Learn how to spot the North Star and identify seasonal constellations in this family-friendly astronomy show, which also includes the short feature Neutron Stars – The Most Extreme Things that are not Black Holes. The combined show lasts 20 minutes and is shown at 12pm and 1:30pm from Wednesday to Friday, with additional performances on Tuesday 28 July.
Sunstruck
Travel back to the birth of the Sun and discover how it shaped life on Earth, the challenges it poses, and what its future holds. This fascinating 23-minute show is suitable for all ages and takes place daily at 3pm.
Ice Worlds
Explore the importance of ice and water on Earth and across the Solar System in this visually stunning show narrated by Emily Watson. Suitable for all ages, this 25-minute experience runs daily at 4pm.
