Designed for all ages, each hands-on session explores different materials, artistic techniques, and cultural traditions, encouraging families to create together while learning directly from professional artists.
The programme features a different artist each week:
25 July: Tat Vision – Creative workshop
1 August: 21 Pirates – Movie poster workshop inspired by pop culture and Birmingham's creative heritage
8 August: Haseebah Ali – Patterned block printing
15 August: Hira Butt – Pakistani truck art-inspired greeting cards
22 August: Nilupa Yasmin – Weaving workshop
29 August: Tina Francis – Stitching Stories: celebrating what we love about the museum
