A Fantastic Place for a Family Day Out!

"Visited West Midland Safari Park with my family and absolutely loved it! The day flew by so quickly, and we honestly didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the attractions and areas of the park. The safari drive was incredibly impressive — the animals come right up to the cars, and the kids were thrilled.

The walking areas are also huge and very interesting — aquariums, reptiles, the dinosaur zone, rides… there’s so much to see that one visit isn’t enough. We’ll definitely come back to explore everything we missed. A fantastic place for a family day out!!"  - Mykhailo - Google review

FAQs - West Midlands Safari Park

Can I feed the animals? WMSP no longer allow the animals on the Safari Drive to be fed, please do not feed any of our animals from your vehicle. Nectar, fish, mealworms and browse can be purchased to feed the lorikeets, penguins, meerkats and giraffe at certain times in the day, subject to availability. Please click here for more information on our animal feeding opportunities, when and where they run.

How long does the Safari Drive take? The Safari takes roughly 1.5-2 hours to drive around but can take longer on busier days, such as school holidays or weekends. You will have chosen a time slot to visit the Safari Drive when booking and each time slot has a limited number of guests.

Are there vehicles that can take me around the Safari Drive? Yes, if you did not want to drive your own car through or you don't have a car, you can book onto one of the Guided Safari Tours.

What is accessibility like for disabled guests? WMSP has free on-site parking for all vehicles, with  41 dedicated Blue Badge spaces located adjacent to the entrance to the Safari Walk. It is a tarmac area on a modest decline towards the pedestrianised area. Parking bays are clearly marked, and spaces are on a first-come first-served basis. On busy dates additional parking may be necessary in other areas. More details.

Can I hire out wheelchairs or mobility scooters? WMSP offer both manual wheelchairs and a limited number of mobility scooters. They can be hired online in advance. Please note that there is a non-refundable hire charge for a single day.
